Getting Started

Do I need any prior knowledge of Arabic to start?+
Not at all! Our beginner courses are designed for complete beginners with no prior Arabic knowledge. We start from the very basics including the Arabic alphabet and fundamental pronunciation.
How do I know which course level is right for me?+
We offer a free consultation call where we assess your current level and discuss your goals. We also have a placement test available. If you're unsure, we always recommend starting with our beginner course as it provides a solid foundation.
What do I need for online classes?+
Just a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection, a microphone, and preferably a camera. We use Zoom for our live classes. All course materials are provided digitally.

Courses & Curriculum

How long does it take to complete a course?+
Course duration varies by level: Beginner courses (A1-A2) are 12 weeks, Intermediate courses (B1-B2) are 16 weeks, and Advanced courses (C1) are 20 weeks. Each course includes 2-3 live sessions per week.
What Arabic dialect do you teach?+
We primarily teach Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), which is understood across all Arab countries and used in formal settings, media, and literature. We also offer specialized courses in Levantine dialect upon request.
Can I access recorded lessons?+
Yes! All live sessions are recorded and available to course students. Single class students get 7-day access, while course package students get lifetime access to recordings.
Do you provide certificates?+
Yes, students who complete course packages receive a certificate of completion from Min Alif Ila Ya, indicating the level achieved and hours of instruction completed.

Scheduling & Classes

What if I miss a live class?+
Don't worry! All classes are recorded so you can catch up anytime. We also encourage students to inform us in advance if they know they'll miss a class. Make-up sessions may be available for course package students.
Can I change my class schedule?+
We understand that schedules can change. Course package students can switch to a different time slot if space is available. Single class students can reschedule up to 24 hours in advance.
What are your class sizes?+
We keep class sizes small to ensure personalized attention. Most classes have 8-15 students, with conversation clubs limited to 8 students for maximum speaking practice.
What time zones do you accommodate?+
Our primary schedule is based on Eastern Time (EST/EDT), but we offer classes at various times to accommodate students across different time zones including Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

Payment & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and bank transfers. Payment plans are available for course packages.
Is there a refund policy?+
Yes, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for course packages if you've attended fewer than 2 classes. Monthly subscriptions can be canceled anytime with no penalty. Single classes are non-refundable once attended.
Do you offer student discounts?+
Yes! We offer a 15% discount for full-time students and 10% for seniors (65+). We also have family discounts when multiple family members enroll. Contact us for details.
Can I pay in installments?+
Yes, course packages can be split into 2-3 monthly payments. This option is available during checkout or by contacting our support team.

Technical Support

What if I have technical problems during class?+
Our team provides technical support before and during classes. We send detailed joining instructions 24 hours before your first class, and our support team is available via WhatsApp during class hours.
Can I join classes from my mobile phone?+
While possible, we recommend using a computer or tablet for the best learning experience. Mobile phones can make it difficult to see shared materials and participate fully in class activities.
Do you have a mobile app?+
Currently, we use Zoom for live classes and provide materials through our online portal. We're developing a dedicated mobile app that will be available in 2024.

Learning Support

Do you provide homework and practice materials?+
Yes! Course package students receive weekly homework assignments, practice exercises, and additional reading materials. You'll also get personalized feedback from your instructor.
Can I get extra help if I'm struggling?+
Absolutely! We offer additional support through WhatsApp groups, optional practice sessions, and one-on-one consultations. Monthly unlimited students get priority access to extra support.
How do you track student progress?+
We use regular assessments, homework reviews, and participation tracking. Students receive progress reports every 4 weeks showing their advancement and areas for improvement.
What if I want to continue after completing a course?+
We offer a clear progression path through all levels. After completing one course, you can advance to the next level or join our conversation clubs to maintain and improve your skills.
